cappapp 7 Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 I set a separate transcode location way back when, but now I'm trying put it back to default or appdata folder that's an ssd. And it doesn't seem to update, even if I leave the option blank. Have tried rebooting emby and the server itself. It doesn't want to update. It says it's correct in the web interface, but still transcodes in the old folder. Emby Server 4.6.7.0 (Unraid 6.9.2) Also, I can create a separate issue, but maybe related. For some reason my Bluey S03 episodes stop at exactly 9 secs in. I thought there might be a transcoding issue at first that's why I was trying a new transcode folder, but then realised it's not transcoding. This is happening when I play it, chromecast, web browser, but not on Android Phone. Have downloaded different files and tried TDarr convert some too. Weird.
cappapp 7 Posted December 13, 2021 Author Posted December 13, 2021 Turned on debug and captured logs during, not seeing any errors. embyserver (1034pm).txt

cappapp 7 Posted December 13, 2021 Author Posted December 13, 2021 I'm watching the old transcode directory and can see the files generating when I play something that requires transcoding.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Please go to Scheduled tasks and rotate your server log and post a new log.
cappapp 7 Posted December 13, 2021 Author Posted December 13, 2021 I'm a dufus, while looking for the schedule tasks. I realised I was changing the cache directory, not the transcode directory. Is working as expected, sorry about that. Still having issues with playing Bluey Season 3 episodes. Season 1 and 2 are fine and everything else I have tried plays fine. It's the first 7 episodes, after that it's fine. I just skipped through them all now until they played past 9 secs. I have redownloaded these many times, including deleting the whole show and re-adding it again from Sonarr. Log attached. Thanks in advance. embyserver (4).txt
Luke 42077 Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 Was any ffmpeg log file generated while trying to play one of these?
cappapp 7 Posted December 14, 2021 Author Posted December 14, 2021 No, this is the last ffmpeg log fi le (attached). The show I was using to test if the transcode location was changing. ffmpeg-remux-7d9c695d-be68-48f2-9285-453fd23468d0_1.txt
