New Music album subdirs not being loaded

So I have several albums by an artist. I use the structured system as in the KB, starting with 
\Artist
   \Album
      ... tracks

This worked fine on the first 5 albums I loaded. I see the songs and the albums under the artist in Emby. I loaded 4 more albums under that same artist, and hit scan on the library. Nothing. It's as if the NEW subdirs aren't there in the Emby page for the artist, but the subdirs and mp3's are there. No new albums under the artist and no new songs at all.

Next I checked the options on library and I have tried all three of the structures in the drop down but no differences, that includes restarting the server after each change. Same outcome.

I added three albums under another artist at the same time. Those SONGS show up but not the albums.

Any ideas?

Hi, are the songs tagged with both album and albumartist values? That's what you'll need in order to have Albums created.

Now I think I kinda understand a sentence or two about tagging in the docs. I just checked the files, the first artist has no tag information, the second has just a bit. So that explains that. 

Any good tag editors or ways to load the data?
