Hi all,

According to documentation from here: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159487-collections

Collections for Movies can be automated by use of the AutoBoxSets Plugin. This plugin can take movies like:

  • Back to the Future
  • Back to the Future II
  • Back to the Future III

So lets try:

Cool I have these movies in db, lets see collections:

Hmm nothing here, so maybe something with library settings, lets see:

Look ok here, restart the server, re-scan library and metadata does not help.

Why collections do not works?

You can try doing a metadata refresh with those 3 items.

In case you use nfo files for emby to read them those needs a set tag with collection name.

Did refresh metadata, I am not using nfo

Every files have proper metadata and were recognized

I would try as a test to take out those 3 movie entries from the movies directory and do a scan, then move them back in and do a scan and see how it goes.

No as Collections are made from item metadata.  So if your current metadata does not have the information to create the collection it must be Refreshed and believe TMDB has to be first provider on the library but not positive.

Depending on the issue, if Refreshing your metadata is not updating your database only metadata then only other method is item or library removal and readding.

But chance do you have "Locked" metadata?

What metadata fetchers are enabled on the library, and in what order?
