Any Way To Disable Cross Library Suggestions? Specifically XRated?

Hi!

I noticed in the "More Like This" section, I see in one of my folders where I have placed general videos I have come across (not tv series or movies - random youtube stuff), that one of the suggestions was an R rated movie *blush* and when I click on the 3 dots to see if I can remove that suggestion, there isn't any way to do it - from what I can tell. This would be bad if I had young kids and didn't want Emby to suggest to them to watch a porn video or something LOL. Any thing I can do to eliminate that suggestion? Or better yet, any way that emby could ignore that complete library (R rated movies) altogether?

You would make them their own account(s) with restricted access so they wouldn't bee seeing it anyway (which you can make for yourself as well , disable access to that library in user>Access tab, and enable it on "per-use" basis. 😉).

But it is a good idea in general, to be able to include/exclude library in recommendations/search results.

Hi yes Okay good because it is restricted for the other user accounts that I have set up such as friends, they're not able to see my porn collection lol So at least that's not going to show up for them as a suggested viewable item. Thank you for clarifying that because I was wondering.

And as far as my account I don't want to go in and deactivate it on a permanent basis and then enable it only when I want to watch porn. It was funny because the videos in that general folder that I have are not anywhere near close to being R or X-rated And I just happened to scroll down and all of a sudden, bam. Haha

An alternate method is to setup another Emby server just for this with access only for you.
If running on Windows it's easy to run two versions (one being portable) on the same computer using different ports (the key to doing this).
That would even allow you to use the release version for your normal setup while using the beta for the other stuff.

It's really no different then using a separate account on the main server except it's much harder to make a mistake and accidentally give access to someone.
