hello seems to be pretty noob this problem

instead of restarting the server, I ended up using the turn off emby
however I'm on a remote machine and I don't have a visual desktop... how to start the emby again via command?

my emby is inside a docker container, and even with the basic commands to start it doesn't return.

to manage my containers i use portainer

Are you tried :

sudo service emby-server start|restart|reload|stop ?

restart is ok (i'm using it)

docker start [OPTIONS] CONTAINER [CONTAINER...]

Portainer can also start it....
