Casting from Emby app to chromecast

Hi

I am trying to cast from Emby app on Samsung phone running Android 10, but I do not see the cast symbol anywhere. Is there a setting I need to change? I am running Emby 4.6.7.0 on Synology (xpenology) running DSM 6.2.3-25426 update 3.

I can see the cast symbol from Chrome browser. In that case, the only devices I see are those on the same LAN and not the remote location I am at. Any reason why this is so?

Not positive but have you verified the User Remote Control setting for that User?

I just sid but couldn't find any thing relevant.

This might be related to your other topic, are you using Android app or Android TV app on your phone|? Cause latter has no cast capabilities.

Hi, have you tried the app Luke linked to yet?
Make sure to check the user settings as well to allow this.
This will be the Access tab for the user. Settings will be in the Remote Control section toward the bottom.
