Like I said. I'm glad to see that Luke and the crew add my request. But I agree that an option to turn it on and off would be the best solution. So everyone is happy and emby has one more feature.

I don't think a switch isn't that hard to code.

Okay, I'll go through this again (but I already did in that thread you linked).

You requested an option for the display of the rating

I said we'll wait for feedback and see

Then someone else requested a secondary option for whether or not the rating display showed when resuming an item

THAT is what I said would not happen.

Obviously your comment wasn't 100% clear.

In any case, when you add anything new that affects the UX, then you need to add an option to allow the user to turn it off if they don't want it.

I like it. Wanna keep it. Option would be good though for those that don't like it.
