Recordings/TV shows library in next up

Apologies if this has already been brought up. I did search, but maybe used the wrong keywords

I currently recording live tv using an IPTV. The recordings are stored in a custom recording folder. Occasionally the recordings for a tv show fail (not Emby's fault) and I acquire the episode form other sources. These are put into my TV Show library.

I don't want recordings put straight into my TV show library (I do that manually once I know it has recorded correctly), but I have noticed that if a shows episodes are in both recordings and TV show library, they will not all show up in 'next up'

Example: Batwoman - EP2 is in tv show library, ep3 is in recordings, ep4 is in tv show library.

If i watch ep2, the next episode to be shown in 'next up' is ep4. I would like ep3 to be shown in next up.

Should it be showing ep3 in next up, or is there something I need to do my end to get it to show?

Hi, I would check your emby user home screen settings that control what libraries are used in global settings like that.

Sorry being thick here, not sure I understand what to be looking for

My home screen sections are: My Media, Live TV, Active Recordings, Continue watching, Continue Listening and Latest media.

All my libraries are displayed in secondary home screen sections apart from one (VOD)

My Mistake, it's actually under continue watching.

Just watch legend's of tomorrow s7e4 (from the tv library), ep5 is under recordings, and ep6 is in the tv library, but continue watching is showing ep6 is next
