subtitles pt and pt-br

Good morning,

My question is that in the subtitles of a video the emby app for android tv cannot distinguish between pt-pt and pt-br.

In the browser or app for android it shows Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese, I can distinguish which language, but on android tv it is not possible to make this distinction.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

Hi.  Are these internal or external subtitles?

Okay, if you have the ability to edit their internal tagged names, then they will appear better in this app now.  We still need to get the multi-line display of both name fields in this app.

if i open in vlc, for example, they have diferent names. in browser and android app no problem, its only on android tv. only show Portugues in booth languages.

Ok, i just see the other post. its a layout problem in android tv app

Any news about this "error"?  continues to show both versions of subtitles as portuguese

How does the web app compare?

Hi.  If you install the standard app on your device, you should get the extended display.

But this is the android version, not android tv.

I can test it, but normally android apps don't run 100% on android tv

That app also has a TV display mode and should work well on the TV.

Make sure nothing is blocking the device/app from reaching the internet to validate.

Its all ok on tv, but ask to join premium. 

I bought the app for android tv, I don't have premium

Ah.  I understand.  The apps are different purchases in Google unfortunately.

and is it a bug that will be resolved on android tv? It has been reported for some time, and from what I read there are more people with this error.
