Kyrunner 86 Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 I’m running emby server on Qnap and I noticed that the emby app is almost 100GB is this normal.
Luke 42086 Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Hi there, no it is not. please attach the emby server log from when this happened. Thanks.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 (edited) @KyrunnerReally depends on settings and library size. If you save images with media or centralized in Emby. But you may have rouge transcode temp data also. Do you have content in your transcode temp folder. Note my people folder is 62GB by itself. So there are variables. My overall Emby Server folder is 96GB. Edited December 7, 2021 by Happy2Play

Carlo 4561 Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Having temp transcodes running in the default location could give the impression of a much higher than normal usage. Having BIF files not stored with media can easily put your Emby folder over the TB mark if you have lots of content. Those are probably the two leading disk hogs but neither has to be under the Emby folders. 1
Kyrunner 86 Posted December 13, 2021 Author Posted December 13, 2021 The reason the app was so big was I forgot I had a bunch of dvr recordings stored
