Is it normal for a emby server to be around 100GB

I’m running emby server on Qnap and I noticed that the emby app is almost 100GB is this normal.

@KyrunnerReally depends on settings and library size.  If you save images with media or centralized in Emby.

But you may have rouge transcode temp data also.  Do you have content in your transcode temp folder.

Note my people folder is 62GB by itself.  So there are variables.  My overall Emby Server folder is 96GB.

Yes but after a reboot it goes back to normal, I redirect mine to external HDDs so no need for restarting the server.

Having temp transcodes running in the default location could give the impression of a much higher than normal usage.  Having BIF files not stored with media can easily put your Emby folder over the TB mark if you have lots of content.  Those are probably the two leading disk hogs but neither has to be under the Emby folders.

The reason the app was so big was I forgot I had a bunch of dvr recordings stored
