Question about User Remote Control Permissions

Hi,

I am trying to cast music from Emby to a Raspberry Pi based music player (DLNA renderer), but it doesn't show up as an option.
I have tried multiple variants embedded into different solutions such as Volumio, Moode, Mopidy etc.
I have also tried running upmpdcli and gmediarender standalone, but they never show up as renderers.

I have the option Enable DLNA Play To enabled.
I can cast to a Chromecast without any problem.

BubbleUPnP and Jellyfin recognizes all of the DLNA renderers I have tried.
Is there a solution to this or is it not implemented?

Emby for Android: 3.2.31
Emby Server (TrueNAS/FreeBSD): 4.6.2.0

Hi there, can you update to Emby Server 4.6.7?

Of course, I am now running 4.6.7.0, but it didn't make a difference.

Thank you for the fast response!

Can you please attach the emby server log? thanks.

I enabled debug logging, restarted the server and tried to cast to my DLNA renderers.
I replaced my domain with mydomain.com, my username with MyUser and my android device name with MyDevice.

Hi,

None of the DLNA renderers showed up in the list of cast options. Only my chromecast showed up as it always does.

Have you checked the remote control permissions for the logged in emby user? Because it looks like a number of devices are detected.

My bad all along... I should have tested a fresh install. Fixing the remote control permissions did the trick.

Thank you so much for your quick response and patience.
