JeremyR 11 Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 (edited) Found one of my favorite series on YT that had been "remastered" using a video AI and it looked wonderful. Up til now all other sources were mediocre to crap. So I got them and put them on my Ember serve. Great. On VLC all look great. On Emby Theater all look great. On Brower all look great. Now a friend tells me they look great on Fire Stick. On Roku about 20% so far out of 40ish episodes reviewed, I get a big green block for the entirety of the 47 min episode. The audio plays just fine. These are VP9. I am using Roku HD latest update. Anything else you need to know? Anything on the app you need me to find out? Anything on the media? I did a quick search here for VP9 issues or green blocks and didn't find anything. Edited December 4, 2021 by JeremyR

JeremyR 11 Posted December 4, 2021 Author Posted December 4, 2021 (edited) So was taking a picture of the green screen since I had no other way to get you a screen shot, decided to add a pic of the system info (removing personal stuff), and the system update number. Popped into system updated for the second time in three days and there was an update waiting. This was a ROKU system update, not an Emby ROKU app update. I have autoupdate on so not sure why it waited two days. Anyway fired the the update and everything is good. No green screen. Looks great. Tried other episodes both green and good, and all were good.
