Good morning people,

Yesterday i installed Emby server on my Linux Mint 20.2 system. But now when i want to add my \\mediaserver\film\ smb pad to the library, I get the following message:

"The path could not be found. Please ensure the path is valid and try again." The thing is, if i connect from Linux Mint to the smb path i can connect. My NAS and my Linux computer are both in the same network and see each other also.

you need to ensure emby has access to the path.  check the permissions in your fstab definition of your smb mount.  you can also search these forums for smb and find the answer.

@LittleDucky has this helped?

What I would suggest is mounting the SMB path to a local path using fstab. Then import that local path into Emby Server instead. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !

It works!

But now when i open Emby server, there are no movies showing.

If i go to my NAS server then i see in the same folder two movies, any idea what this problem is?
