LittleDucky 0 Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Good morning people, Yesterday i installed Emby server on my Linux Mint 20.2 system. But now when i want to add my \\mediaserver\film\ smb pad to the library, I get the following message: "The path could not be found. Please ensure the path is valid and try again." The thing is, if i connect from Linux Mint to the smb path i can connect. My NAS and my Linux computer are both in the same network and see each other also.

My NAS and my Linux computer are both in the same network and see each other also. you need to ensure emby has access to the path. check the permissions in your fstab definition of your smb mount. you can also search these forums for smb and find the answer.

LittleDucky 0 Posted December 10, 2021 Author Posted December 10, 2021 It works! But now when i open Emby server, there are no movies showing. If i go to my NAS server then i see in the same folder two movies, any idea what this problem is?
