problem connecting emby on my synology.

Hi. I cannot enter my emby from my phone because it says it needs to update. In packagemanager can i not find a new version of emby. To download manual im not sure which version i shall install to fit my synology. Hope someone can help Model name DS3615xs

Hi, so I went to the download page for Synology 6 on our site:
https://emby.media/synology-server.html

The first line tells you to Download one of the following packages depending the architecture of your Synology NAS:
That is a hyperlink to an architecture link of different models so we open it up.

Now to search or find on the page I'll do a CTRL F to bring up the find dialog and enter DS3615xs followed by enter.

I get back

Which tells me you have an an Intel 64 bit CPU.
So back on the main download page you want the first option "64-bit NAS"

However, you could also upgrade to 4.6.6 first

Then to 4.6.7 after that.

One this to be careful with if looking at these files directly on github is that there are Synology DSM 6 and DSM 7 versions.
There difference between the two is this:
emby-server-synology_4.6.7.0_x86_64.spk
emby-server-synology7_4.6.7.0_x86_64.spk (this has a 7 right after the y in synology).

After getting caught up to current on Emby for DSM 6 have you thought about migrating to DSM 7 yet?

BTW, that is a really nice NAS:

i dont know so much about synology again. Tried to download the package manually down but it writes "Not supported" Perhabs someone could help via teamviewer or another way.

Is there a reason you have not updated your DSM?  But I believe our packages only support DSM 6 and DSM 7 with each having their own package.

Im not sure. A friend told me it was difficult to update. And i dont know so much about it again

I would try to get updated to at least DSM 6.
Do you have an active backup of your NAS?
