MBC showing No Items on existing files

Hello, I have encountered several issues this past week with MBC that I'm not sure of the cause or a solution. I have been using my HTPC for a couple months now viewing OTA recordings via WMC and manually adding downloaded shows into MBC. This has been working great for the most part until this past week. Here are the issues I am seeing:

1. I have one video that I downloaded that will not show up in the library using MBC or MBServer. It displays a transparent folder with the number indicating unplayed shows, but when I select the folder, it displays No Items. I am able to play this video manually by clicking on it in windows explorer. This particular video is a mkv that was converted to a m2ts file using mkv2vob, a method I have used many times without issue. I tried using the unconverted mkv file with the same problem. This is a new show, Dead On Arrival, and it just started last week. I noticed that the transparent folder did have the wrong name initially and I edited the nfo file that was downloaded to correct it. So my question is, what would keep MB from showing a video file and display No Items instead? Would the fact that it is new show cause this?

2. I have recently setup MCEBuddy to transfer my OTA recordings to my MB library. MCE buddy is transferring my WTV files using the WTV (Unprocessed) profile and using comskip to remove commercials. This works fine, however there is one show (General Hospital) that MB is not displaying. Like with issue #1, is shows a transparent folder with the correct 'unplayed video' indicator, but when seleced, it displays No Items. Again, the video files are there, MB just isn't displaying them. All other OTA recordings being transferred are displayed correctly in MB. Since this is similar to the problem above , I'm thinking it is a MB issue. Any thoughts?

3. Lastly, my wife loves Judge Judy. It is recorded via OTA and MCEBuddy transfers it to MB correctly but sometimes MB will only display one episode, even though there may be 5-6 in the folder. Again, the number of episodes is correctly displayed by the 'unplayed video' indicator. I can delete the only episode that is showing in MB and the Judge Judy folder disappears (like it would normally do if there was only one episode), but I can simply exit / restart MB and the Judge Judy folder reappears and displays the remaining episodes correctly. This is the only show that I have noticed this problem.

I am using the latest releases of both MB Classic / Server on an HTPC running windows 7. I tried changing themes to see if it was related, but my problems remain. Any thoughts or advice on any of these issues would be greatly appreciated. I'm at work currently, but I can provide logs later if needed.

Thanks,

Ben

All of these sound like file/folder structure problems.  In other words - the naming convention or folder structure of the show does not conform to one of our recognized standards so MB is not seeing it as a TV show.

Please use the web client and metadata editor to troubleshoot and see if these items are identified properly.

Thanks ebr for the suggestion. I went into the metadata editor and refreshed the info for General Hospistal and that resolved that problem. The Judge Judy problem didn't present itself today for some reason, maybe the issue resolved itself. I don't know, I'll keep an eye on that. However, I do still have the issue with the downloaded file, Dead On Arrival (on the ID channel). In the metadata editor, it keeps pulling the information for some show called Xombie: Dead On Arrival. I corrected the metadata manually but it still won't show up. Would wrong metadata keep it from displaying? Anything specific in the metadata that you can think of? As far as folder structure, it is the same as all my other shows, x:/TV Shows/Dead On Arrival/Dead On Arrival S01E01.m2ts. So I don't think it as anything to do with that. Could something be wrong in the file itself to keep it from displaying? This is what I am thinking at this point, since I have not experience this problem with any other mkv I've downloaded. This weekend I am going to load episode 2 to see if it has the same issue. Thanks again, I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this HTPC stuff, so the help is much appreciated.

Just use the Identify feature to correct it to the proper show - unless the show doesn't actually exist on tvdb...
