horstepipe 422 Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Hello I was seeing that if you add a movie and it is being fetched by Emby via „Real time monitoring“ of the library, the fan art pictures added by Emby are named differently than fan art pictures which were added if you do not use real time monitor and scan the library. so normally it is just poster.jpg if real time monitor is enabled, it is filename-of-the-movie-poster.jpg. is there a reason for that behavior? This brings lots of „unused“ files if a movie is being replaced e.g. by radarr. best regards
FrostByte 5392 Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Is it possible that RTM saw the two copies of the movie before radarr deleted the old one? Reason being that happens when there is already a copy of the movie in the folder. So when a second copy of the movie shows up Emby names the files like you described. Unless you're using version naming of course 1 1
horstepipe 422 Posted November 28, 2021 Author Posted November 28, 2021 Ahh yes that makes sense, thank you! 1
