Anyway for MBC to populate the artist, rather then stream/ unknown.  Even the Radio station would be nice.  not sure if this is a MBC or Tune-in issue so I'll ask here first .

We are just feeding an url to the audio player in WMC.  I don't think there is any way for it to derive any meta information from it.  Especially since that information is transient (same stream is playing multiple things).

  That's what I thought.  Any way that the name of the station could be faked into the stream then? or is that also more trouble then it worth as well.

Hrmm can't seem to get it to work as every time I add the ports my firewall blocks going outbound it has a bunch of other ports

I have now tried the channel a view times, it installs fine, pull up my account favorites, but I can not get any channel to play either in the web client(Chome or IE) or in MBC..

In my experience either there is a problem with the plug-in and how it is forming its urls or there are a ton of dead links in this channel.  I found it next to impossible to find something that would play as well.

 

That error is simply a bad link (not found).

No problem to play it directly In the browser. I noticed something a little odd:

 

Here http://tunein.com/radio/93-Q-s33429/ is the link I am playing directly from the browser

Here http://provisioning.streamtheworld.com/pls/KKBQFM.pls?DIST=TuneIn&TGT=TuneIn&maxServers=2 is the link from the log file trying to play from the MB web client

 

I tried playing it from MBC and it just sit spinning..my machine become unresponsive and I have to close MCE

When pasting the links from file 1, 2, 4 and 5 directly in the browser it works, when pasting link 3 or 6, it does not work, port 443 having a issue??

 

Correction, just tried it again and all the links in the PLS file work

Hmm...OK, I'm with ebr thinking the url streams have changed or their APIs. 

 

I'm assuming you are on the latest's versions. All working fine here after the latest MBC and snaxy2000 latest patch.

I just tried it with my MBS cache back on my C drive and it makes no difference.. below is the extract from the transcode log.

 

the mp3 file is actually created in the cache directory and when I click it from the file manager it all plays, just not from the webclient or MBC

I am noticing the tune in plugin is not listing all available stations for certain locations. For example, browsing by location North America->Mexico->Distrito Federal->Mexico City->All Stations would only yield 50 stations. However, when browsing this same location within tune in web site it lists 115 available stations. Alfa Radio is one station that may be reached through tune in's web site but not available though the plugin. Is there something I may do to fix this?

Does this TuneIn plugin still work? I just installed it on Emby Server (Windows) version 3.0.5800.0

The TuneIn plugin version is 1.0.5810.30121

 

I think I have entered my TuneIn username and LATLON details correctly. In the Emby web GUI in Chrome, I now see a new Channels area. If I select this I just see what's in this screen shot and nothing else appears.
