cybrsage 4 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 I know XML format is the old way and NFO is the new, no problem there. All my metadata is in XML format and I have the plugin to use it when I setup a new library. My question is, if after I import a folder full of movies, and I have the Metadata Savers NFO checked, will it create a NFO with the information found in the XML file? I can then delete the xml files and have no worries about losing the info, right? I have been using Media Center Master since the Media Browser 1.6 days, but it is high time I moved on from it.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Overall yes that would work. I still uses MCM for all my processing. Only minor quick is the "Language" field in the xml is used as Prefered Language in Emby and can potential cause metadata language issues if item is Refreshed in Emby. 1
cybrsage 4 Posted November 25, 2021 Author Posted November 25, 2021 Thanks, I went and tried it and it worked. It also created a new xml file.
