Moviedb id

Greetings,

Is there an easy way to get the id from moviedb Id? Its easy enough with imdb, tvdb and zap.

I honestly absolutely did not understand your query - can you clarify, what do you need?

In the external Id section. I cant seem to find the ID from the moviedb website. The other external IDs like imdb for example is easy to extrapolate from the imdb url.

That should be scraped automatically. How did you setup your library, which meta-providers you have enabled, care to share a screenshot?

Because you're entering it in the TV section, not the movie section.

Settings>Library tab, type will be listed under library name on thumbnail. 

Else you couldn't get TVDB and Zap2it IDs in item metadata.

Ok yes this seems to he the case. I had movies and tv in the same library. I split the  movies out to it's own library and made type movies and all the data gets populated. Thanks again for help guys.

So you need to change the type of this library for proper functionality?
If so check the tutorial/guide section which has directions for doing this.
I'd give you the link but it's hard for me to do right now.

Yep I created a folder for just Movies, created a library of type Movie and all the metadata updating correctly
