bishop2001 2 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Greetings, Is there an easy way to get the id from moviedb Id? Its easy enough with imdb, tvdb and zap.
GrimReaper 4740 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 I honestly absolutely did not understand your query - can you clarify, what do you need?
bishop2001 2 Posted November 24, 2021 Author Posted November 24, 2021 In the external Id section. I cant seem to find the ID from the moviedb website. The other external IDs like imdb for example is easy to extrapolate from the imdb url.
GrimReaper 4740 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 That should be scraped automatically. How did you setup your library, which meta-providers you have enabled, care to share a screenshot?
bishop2001 2 Posted November 24, 2021 Author Posted November 24, 2021 If I enter 11974 it goes to the wrong movie https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/11974-double-your-money
crusher11 1101 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Because you're entering it in the TV section, not the movie section.
bishop2001 2 Posted November 24, 2021 Author Posted November 24, 2021 Just entering that ID in the moviedb id section will go to https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/11974-double-your-money
GrimReaper 4740 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Just now, bishop2001 said: Just entering that ID in the moviedb id section will go to https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/11974-double-your-money 49 minutes ago, GrimReaper said: How did you setup your library, Did you make a TV show-type library, by mistake?
bishop2001 2 Posted November 24, 2021 Author Posted November 24, 2021 I dont think so. Where would I check that?
GrimReaper 4740 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Settings>Library tab, type will be listed under library name on thumbnail. Else you couldn't get TVDB and Zap2it IDs in item metadata.
bishop2001 2 Posted November 24, 2021 Author Posted November 24, 2021 Ok yes this seems to he the case. I had movies and tv in the same library. I split the movies out to it's own library and made type movies and all the data gets populated. Thanks again for help guys.
Carlo 4561 Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 So you need to change the type of this library for proper functionality? If so check the tutorial/guide section which has directions for doing this. I'd give you the link but it's hard for me to do right now.
bishop2001 2 Posted November 25, 2021 Author Posted November 25, 2021 Yep I created a folder for just Movies, created a library of type Movie and all the metadata updating correctly 1
