I can see recordings under the 'My Media - Recordings' but if I click on the Live TV icon in My Media and look at 'Recordings' there is nothing there. I can also see Recordings under the "Latest Recordings" I've viewing on Amazon Fire Stick 4k with an Ubuntu server.

The recording path is /TV/EMBYREC/. Once the recording path is set, shouldn't recorded programs appear under My Media and in the Live TV section? Carlo 4561 Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 /TV/EMBYREC/ is the folder you're recording to? Do you have any library pointed to /TV ??? I just want to make sure you aren't trying to record into a different library type. If that is what you're doing you want to change the DVR recording path so it's unique and standalone and not overlapping another library. Something like this is fine: /TV /Movies /Music /DVR Let us know if this helps.

What folders does each one have listed in emby library setup?

There is a known issue that if the same folder is used in more than one library, then content may sometimes not show up. It is by far the leading reason for this, so that is why I'm first trying to rule that out before we look at other things. We're happy to help you resolve this. Thanks.

It seems that those who are trying to help aren't even reading, or understanding, the prior messages. I don't mean to be harsh, but if people can't even process the messages in this thread, how can I believe they are actually giving real thought to the issues I'm having? I really appreciate the effort, but even the act of checking these folders feels like an exercise in futility since the recordings do appear in one section "My Media" but NOT under "Live TV." I don't even think there is a section in the settings to adjust "Live TV" directories. Edited December 7, 2021 by hish747
pwhodges 2012 Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 If you set the filter for favourites in the Live Recordings view, and don't have any favourites set, then you will get an empty display. Might this be your situation? Paul
