Cant refresh libraries after renaming files?

Hi All

I just did a big rename of all my files

(I Need the ID on files in order to import them into another program)

After renaming them I thought it would be easy to rescan or refresh metadata since each folder have posters and NFO generated by EMBY!

But no matter how many times I do a rescan the files are left blank....

Is my only option to delete the Library and do a new scan of all the media files?

I would just be patient. Based on your screenshot, you've renamed all your folders, not only files. What you did is effectively created a new library, as all old paths need to be deleted and new paths scanned. Seeing you did a refresh on library level, it will take some tome, as all files need to be processed. Just run Scan media library and give it time, artwork and NFOs you store with your media should be reused. To make it faster, you can disable all meta-scrapers in your library settings before running scan. Or kill internet connection alltogether.

Okay after multiple reboots and trying to create new libraries, I extended my RAM in the advanced docker from 2G to 4G and it seem to work now?

(Funny thing is that I haven't touch this in years, on the other hand I haven't rescanned my entire media collection in years either)

Hi, for future reference I would try just running a regular library scan instead of refreshing metadata.
