Playback Error

Playback Error. No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details.

This started happening when I created a new folder. Now, all new movies added to my Emby do this. All old movies still work fine. Have since deleted that new folder that started the problem.

Hi, yes that is fine blank. You would only customize that if you had a specific reason to. Can you try refreshing the metadata on that title? Please see if that helps. Thanks.

Hi, the issue above is that ffmpeg is complaining the media file is invalid as it doesn't have a valid video stream.
Output file #0 does not contain any stream.

What was the source of this file?
Have you tried playing it back in another player such as VLC?
If it plays in VLC then it can likely be fixed.

Yes, it plays on VLC and on my phone, just not on Emby.

First guess would be the file has not been probed via ffprobe to provide proper Media Info for Emby to know what to do with the file as the transcode log show no stream info.

Does Emby show the Media Info on the Item page at the bottom?

If not can you Refresh metadata on the item to see if it appears.  If it does not can you post the server log for this Refresh on that item.

Sounds like is just took time for Emby to actually process this new folder.  But glad everything is working again.
