Please,
Someone help me with a solution.
I need to make a mixed library, with videos and audios, will be of COURSES classes.

The problem is that the audios don't appear. Only videos appear.

\COURSES\SPANISH\class-01.mp3
\COURSES\SPANISH\class-01.mkv
\COURSES\SPANISH\class-02.mp3
\COURSES\SPANISH\class-02.mkv

How can I do it, which solution does someone indicate?
Thank you

Hi, I don't understand your question. The gallery I created was of mixed content.

The audio and video files are in the same folder
What could I do to make the audio files appear in the gallery? only video files appear in the gallery.

Never had the need for such setup, but AFAIK having both audio and video files in a single folder ain't supported at this time, you can try splitting those to separate folders per type, i.e.

\COURSES

      \SPANISH

          \VIDEO

               \class-01.mkv

               \class-02.mkv

\COURSES

     \SPANISH

          \AUDIO

               \class-01.mp3

               \class-02.mp3

and then experiment a bit with different library content types: Mixed content, Music Videos, Home Videos, adding those folders separately as library paths in Library setup (+):

\COURSES\SPANISH\VIDEO

\COURSES\SPANISH\AUDIO

See which one will give most satisfactory result for your usage case.

Let us know how you get on.

Edit: Just did a quick test with Mixed-content type library, getting both audio and video files to show in Folder view with any library path setup, as long as you keep them separated in per-type subfolder:

1. \COURSES\SPANISH\VIDEO

     \COURSES\SPANISH\AUDIO

or

2. \COURSES\SPANISH

or

3. \COURSES

It all depends how do you want them presented, with folder navigation or all presented at top level, flattened folder structure.

I recently had the desire to embed an audio m4a file in a folder along with some other video content (in my case, it's related to live performance/concert-related videos), and couldn't get Emby to catalogue it and make it available to play, even in my mixed content library.  So after doing some research and stumbling across this old post, I figured I'd chime in with my findings in case anyone else winds up here with the same question.

I was unable to get @GrimReaper's suggestion of VIDEO\ and AUDIO\ subfolders to work; I think this may because I am trying to get this particular content to appear within a TV Show context (my goal was to be able to categorize some of the content in this folder as a "Special" so it doesn't display inline with the main videos, but is available from the same "folder" location in my library).  I'm sure it would work if I dropped the TV-style "Season 01/Special" folder conventions but I didn't get to try that configuration, and in any case I wanted the audio track to display alongside the other videos, and not require drilling down into a different sub-folder location.

What did work was to simply rename the .m4a file extension as an .mkv.  Emby immediately found the file, scraped the internal metadata, and displayed it alongside the other video files in the folder for playback (audio-only, with a black picture)--which is exactly how I wanted it to work.  It's a bit of a cheat, but it works.
