horstepipe 422 Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 Helio I‘m using Ombi for some time now, which takes very long to scan the emby library because it has to scan the whole library again and again. Plex has a recently added api which is being used by Ombi. Wouldn’t it make sense adding it to emby, too? Then external apps don’t need to parse the whole library anymore.
Luke 42077 Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 Hi, you can already do this with the querying endpoints that we have.

Hey But these are based on users aren’t they? ombi dev told me that: „The issue is how emby is reporting the recently added stuff. Its not a plain objective list of whats recently added. Emby needs to implement a way to report to things just whats been recently added with nothing else that could affect it. Thats most likely what is missing.“
Luke 42077 Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 We have a general querying endpoint that can sort on date added, with filters, etc. 1
horstepipe 422 Posted November 18, 2021 Author Posted November 18, 2021 Okay thanks, I will give the info to the Ombi devs.
horstepipe 422 Posted November 19, 2021 Author Posted November 19, 2021 @Luke if you have one minute again, would you please tell me which querying endpoint you’re actually referring to so I can include that info at Ombi GitHub?
ebr 16169 Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 Hi. If you are looking for a global one, I believe it would be /Items 1
horstepipe 422 Posted November 20, 2021 Author Posted November 20, 2021 Thank you, it was added to Ombi! 1
