UI improvement - Subtitles offset

Is there anyway I can quickly set a subtitles offset value? 

pressing on +-50ms button is tedious when I have to set at +-6500 for each episode of a TV series.

A slider or a direct input of the desirable value would be great.  Thank you.

When the button has focus you should be able to hold down enter, right?

that does not work reliably on mac.  i dont see the button being focused.  i was able to do this with -50 and then after reset, i tried with +50 but no matter what i do i cannot make the button focused again and so Enter did not register.

Agree with this one, on an episode I tried it, subtitles were  35 seconds behind the speech, that's 35000ms! A box to type in would be nice, perhaps choose units too

Subtitle offset is being changed to a slider which should make it much easier now, and you still have the buttons to step up/down:
