Permissions switch when I record live TV

I am using Emby 4.6.4.0 on Ubuntu 20. 

I have some TV shows in this Library: `/mnt/Plex/Emby/TV Shows` (note: migrating currently from a Plex-based setup). 

Recordings are stored in the following custom paths:

• /mnt/Plex/Emby/MovieW
• /mnt/Plex/Emby/TV Shows

I have rest the permissions as follows: `sudo chown -R emby:emby /mnt/Plex`. Here's what it the permissions look like.

drwxrwxr-x  15 emby emby  4096 Nov  2 09:26  ..
drwxrwxr-x   4 emby emby  4096 Nov 15 14:09 'Home Videos'
drwxrwxr-x 312 emby emby 20480 Nov 16 06:10  Movies
drwxrwxr-x   3 emby emby  4096 Nov 16 11:14 'TV Shows'

This works as expected and Emby works fine for the most part. However, as soon as I start recording any show from live TV, my permissions switch  to the following:

Maybe this is because I'm logged in with my own username vs. emby?

HI, I think that should be fine, although the server runs under the user emby. Please let us know if that helps. Thanks.

I actually forgot to mention the problem! LOL

When I go to delete a show from Emby, I get an error message regarding permissions.

Is there a way to change the user that runs emby?
