downloading subtitle with opensubtitle doesn't work

Hi

Since few weeks i can't donload subtitle with opensubtitle plugin

I tried to unintall but that didn't change anything

you will find in attachment the error message i got in the log

any ideas ?

Hi, looks like they're sending back a forbidden response, which means they're blocking you temporarily, likely due to hitting them too hard with requests.

What is the schedule for the subtitles download scheduled task?

Are you running a VPN or anything similar?
If so they are likely blocking by IP.

No 'im just uusing no ip because my public ip change every 2 or 3 day du to my provider

Going back taking a look at your logs it's returning forbidden.  I would turn off open subs completely for a day or two.
Then try it manually.  That will give a good indication if it was a temp ban or not.

If that doesn't work you will need to send them an email enquiring why you're getting a forbidden message.

I wrote an email to opensubtitle support and they ask me to check this URL  https://www.opensubtitles.org/addons/show_my_ip.php

and it confirm that i didn't reach the limit or i'm not banned but i still can't download   subtitle from opensubtitle

I think the existing site is still working fine - I checked this and it was downloading SRT's ok yesterday.

I changed passwords because I can, but it was originally a password manager generated unique password so I had no real need to.

The concern/warning is for those that use the same email and password for multiple sites - a big no-no, but people still do it.

have you changed your password on opensubtitles.org ?  You NEED to do this (and subsequently change it in Emby too), as all opensubtitle accounts have been suspended until you change your password - re the hack - as indicated earlier.

Yes i did it (in opensubtitles.org then in Emby ) and the problem is still the same

The experts know more than I do obviously, but from the log:

Either your credentials are wrong for that site (though usually that's a unauthorized error), or they have you blocked for some reason.

it's seems that I'm not banned but the strange thing is that two raw ip where displayed. i don't know if it was the same for you ?

Mine was the same.  So your account looks fine, so I'm really not sure why you get the error.

Hi.  So the next thing to investigate would be something in between your Emby server and them.

Just to be sure i edited my emby setting and put aé dummy password instead of the good one and 've got the same error.

then i log in opensubtitle using copy and past for my password and duplicate the operation on emby and i still got the same problem.
