IamJosh 8 Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 Hi, I have movies in MVK format with both English and English SDH subtitles (no separate .srt files, they are within the MVK file). I edit and chose the subtitle files I want within the MVK file using MKVToolNix, and both English and English SDH are tagged under the Language track "English", and under Track name, they are labeled as English and English SDH. When I play from the Emby web browser app, or on my iPhone, both come up as "English (SUBRIP)" but the Track Name "English SDH" also appears right below the file it belongs to, so I know which one is the SDH. But when playing on Emby from a Firestick, the Track Name does not appear, both subtitles come up as "English (SUBRIP)" only, the Track Name labels do not appear and I cannot identify the English vs. English SDH. Is there a way for Emby in Firestick to show the Track name label of subtitles from an MVK file, like it does for the web app and iPhone? Thank you
GrimReaper 4740 Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 Hey up, see: I reckon it'll be propagated to the AndroidTV interface soon enough.
Luke 42078 Posted September 29, 2023 Posted September 29, 2023 @IamJosh HI, the hearing impaired status for subtitles, both internal and external will be supported in Emby Server 4.8: Thanks.
