Is there a way to change the "Version" text in grouped movies?

For instance, as it stands now, when you group two movies together, it will just keep what text is the same and the version will read the rest of the file name that isn't the same as the other.  Instead of the partial file name to be the label to choose which version you want, it'd be nice if we could customize it. For instance, between IMAX or "Normal." Or Theatrical vs Extended. It'd clean it up a little. Is there a place to do this, or is this not a feature?

Can you share a few more details? How are you naming your versions now?

Sure, so like let's say I have 2 files for "Movie Film:"

Movie Film (2021) Theatrical Release [1080p Bluray HEVC].mkv
Movie Film (2021) Extended Cut [1080p Bluray HEVC].mkv

As it stands now, when I group these two files together and click to choose a version, the options would be:

Theatrical Release [1080p Bluray HEVC]
Extended Cut [1080p Bluray HEVC]

And if they were named differently like:

Movie.Film.2021.Theatrical.Release.1080p.Bluray.HEVC.mkv
Movie Film (2021) Extended Cut [1080p Bluray HEVC].mkv

Then the versions would be even worse, and show:

.Film.2021.Theatrical.Release.1080p.Bluray.HEVC.mkv
Film (2021) Extended Cut [1080p Bluray HEVC].mkv

Which is just really ugly. This is for quality of life rather than function, lol.

I think it'd be much nicer to be able to customize this somewhere, so the options would simply read:

Theatrical
Extended

Does that make more sense?

Hi.  Name them like this and they will:

Movie Film (2021) [1080p Bluray HEVC] Theatrical Release.mkv
Movie Film (2021) [1080p Bluray HEVC] Extended Cut.mkv

That is a good work around for sure. But going through and manually renaming a ton of videos isn't ideal. I will def use this in the meantime as that's a clever way to get around it, so thank you!

But in the end that is where that version title comes from, parsing the filename.  

But your naming scheme does not follow the automatic version grouping naming scheme so you have to be manually grouping or using the plugin ( parses the name somewhat the same).
