Where are the Show Fields options?

Hello,

I have been running a Pi based server for a couple years now and recently upgraded to a small windows based server.  On my Pi server (running under DietPi) I had "Show Fields" that gave me two options, "Title" and "Date".  Now that I am on a Windows server I only have "Title" showing up.  On both servers I created the library for the same folder on my NAS as a Mixed Content library and have made sure to mirror the settings from the old library to the new.  Looking through forums I found a post where the last picture shows the options for "Show Fields" in the library settings.  I do not have that in either of mine.

While in the library I click on the three dots at the top to show those settings and the only option listed is the "Title" option.

How does one get the other options like "Date" or "Critic Rating" or "Parental Rating" shown in the last picture from the other thread posted above?

Thank you for any help.

Avolow.

Could you show us the top row of that screen?

If you are in 'Folders' view, you will be limited to Show Fields of just 'Title', but if you select either 'Shows' or 'Movies' you should then see more options available.

Hope that helps.

Thank you,

That list at the top of the screen is not something that I don't have on my Pi server, so I never knew about it. 🙂

That actually did bring those back when I switched between them.  Is there a way to make them there at all times?  I also notice that switching between the different options changes how many different library items show up in the library.

Thank you.

Using Mixed Content type is going to be restrictive in what you can do.

The best thing you can do for your system is move the content on physical disks to it's own section so you get rid of the need to have mixed content.
All movies are are separate from Shows.

That then allows you to setup Libraries with specific features for the specific content type.
