scolarypang 1 Posted November 5, 2021 Posted November 5, 2021 (edited) I use Asustor 6604T nas I want to reinstall the emby server But after the reinstallation, the data was always there. Which folders are used by the emby server. I've deleted /volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/emby-server/ /home/emby Edited November 5, 2021 by scolarypang
Luke 42077 Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Hi, server data files will be under /home/emby
Luke 42077 Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 What you can do is uninstall, then delete that folder, then reinstall. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
scolarypang 1 Posted November 7, 2021 Author Posted November 7, 2021 This work. However, you need to restart the server and delete emby user with root. # userdel emby 1

Sorry for a silly question, but I cannot see this folders in my Asustor. I guess it's hidden - could you please explain in a simple words how can I get an access to it?

You'll need to make sure the service is enabled before doing so: https://support.asustor.com/index.php?/Default/Knowledgebase/Article/View/190/22/how-to-ssh-into-my-asustor-nas 1
