nomatches4mikey 8 Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 I have identified an issue in my library with Doctor Who (2005) Season 12 episodes. I don't know if it affects other shows yet. It appears at some point the episodes were misidentified as a Movie in the database. They do not show up in the season episode list. However, if I search on the episode name, it can be found. The metadata provided correctly matches the episode. I tested saving the metadata for Episode 1, and it caused the episode to appear again in the season episode list. The log entry on refresh shows that it had previously been marked as Chelsea FC Season Review 2011/12. A search for Chelsea does not find the other episodes, and the title does not appear in the metadata manager. I could manually fix the season, but wanted to log the issue in case others experience a similar issue. Quote Info App: Removing item from database, Type: Movie, Name: Chelsea FC - Season Review 2011/12, Path: N:\TV\Doctor Who (2005)\Season 12\S12E01 - Spyfall (1).mkv, Id: 92541
Carlo 4561 Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 I would move the entire season 12 folder out of the library and rescan the library. Then remove any NFO files in the 12 folders. Add back to it's proper location and scan library again. Does that fix it?
Luke 42081 Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 What is the content type of the library in emby library setup?
nomatches4mikey 8 Posted November 4, 2021 Author Posted November 4, 2021 The Content Type for the library is TV Shows. I removed the Season 12 folder and rescanned the library. The following log entries were observed: Info App: Removing item from database, Type: Season, Name: Season 12, Path: N:\TV\Doctor Who (2005)\Season 12, Id: 92635 Info LibraryMonitor: Doctor Who (2005) (N:\TV\Doctor Who (2005)) will be refreshed. Info App: Removing item from database, Type: Series, Name: Mighty Mouse, Path: N:\TV\Doctor Who (2005)\Season 12, Id: 112097 There were no NFO files in the folder, but I went ahead and deleted any jpg and srt files, so only the video files remained. I restored the Season 12 folder to the show folder and rescanned the library. It's showing up correctly in the front-end, but it's still being referenced as Mighty Mouse for some reason in the logs. Full log attached. Info LibraryMonitor: Mighty Mouse (N:\TV\Doctor Who (2005)\Season 12) will be refreshed. Info LibraryMonitor: S12E07 - Can You Hear Me (N:\TV\Doctor Who (2005)\Season 12\S12E07 - Can You Hear Me.mkv) will be refreshed. Info LibraryMonitor: S12E08 - The Haunting of Villa Diodati (N:\TV\Doctor Who (2005)\Season 12\S12E08 - The Haunting of Villa Diodati.mkv) will be refreshed. Luke 42081 Posted November 5, 2021 Posted November 5, 2021 How many Emby libraries have you created, and what folder paths did you add to each one?
nomatches4mikey 8 Posted November 5, 2021 Author Posted November 5, 2021 The permission errors may be due to trying to process the files while they were in flight due to real time monitoring? I made the mistake of moving it to my Desktop on another drive, so it took some time to restore. I have five total Libraries, plus Collections and Playlists. There is one Library for Movies, and one for TV. Both of these have been expanded to two folders each. The TV library, for example, has M:\TV and N:\TV. The others are small and only have one folder (Demos, Exercise, Music). The only files in the Doctor Who (2005) folder are the Season folders (includes Season 0) and image resources (season01-poster.jpg, etc). I manually searched for "Season 12" on thetvdb.com, and the Chelsea FC season was one of the returned shows, along with Mighty Mouse, so that must have been affecting it originally. I verified the series external id for thetvdb.com in the metadata manager is correct, 78804.
Luke 42081 Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Quote I have five total Libraries What are the folder paths added to the other libraries besides tv?
