How big and high quality should the video be ? Maybe this is a useless test. Idk.

Hi, the answer to this is always, it depends, on devices involved, network connections, etc.

And a speed test on your 4g lte or 5g device?  As the will be dependent on how fast the phone connection is not the server upload speed.

As I know my LTE connection fluctuates from about 0.5Mbps to about 20Mbps depending on the time of day.

So less then 1Mbps during a saturated network time of day.

Instead of using upload/download test sites which aren't the same go to https://test-videos.co.uk/ and download some test files.

You can get the Big Buck Bunny files directly from
https://peach.blender.org/

You can get the JellyFish files directly from
https://www.jell.yfish.us/

Note both sites make files available in different formats as well as bitrates.
These are also good for testing the transcode speed of your server as well.

These can help you find the upper limit of what can be played back remotely but as @Happy2Play mentioned on a cellular network it can fluctuate a lot!

This sucks :(

What network is the less saturated in your opinion ?

Thanks good ideas!

You could also try taking the link for a few of those (as a test) and creating an STRM file with them.
Just name the file so it's got the type, bitrate, etc or use the original name.  Inside the text file with the strm extension you put one line which is the URL.

Now when a user does a test from your server the files don't need to be stored but instead are pulled on demand and streamed to the user.

As long as your server has very good download this shouldn't impact the speed test to the client.
