I am trying to reset my password to admin account
Call this http://192.168.86.41:8096/web/forgotpasswordpin.html

The URL on my system is a lot different then that.

Are you using a web browser when doing this?

@henrik70 what is the version number of your emby server?

Per other topics when these URLs start messing up, looking in the wrong location it point to overloaded folder or devices issue.

Can you check your transcode-temp folder, is there content in it?

@Luke  emby-server-synology7_4.6.4.0_x86_64

I have tried to uninstall but appdata is not deleted.
I have now gone all in on ssh access but can not really figure out where emby stores password.
I forgot my password and that's why I got into this situation

You would/could manually edit the users.db.  But should resolve current issue as Emby is looking for html files in the wrong location.

In your Data Path shown  on dashboard path section or top section of your server log.  Synology can be in different locations per DSM.  But the users.db will be in the data folder in the Data Path.

I found the solution
ssh var / packages / embyserver / var / passwordreset.txt

Link and pincode to reset my admin account in passwordreset.txt 😃

Yes you should have gotten a pop-up to that location for that file.

I only got pop-up after I uninstalled
I do not know why I did not get it in the first round so I had not spent half the day today figuring out something that took 5 min 🤣

Thanks for your quick reply ,all of you 😄
