Xbox One X app crashing when playing HEVC

I'm experiencing significate playback issues on Xbox One X when attempting to playback HEVC content. On playback I'm either getting a crash or black screen. This seems to happen when doing direct play or transcoding.

I've updated to the beta version of Emby server to see if it would resolve the problem but it hasn't made a difference

Xbox App Version: 1.1.378.70

Emby server version 4.7.0.15-beta

It happens right at the start of playback immediately after hitting play

Did this ever get researched? I have the same issue that emby xbox app crashes as soon as I play on 4k HVEC content with truehd or 5.1 enabled so doesn't change the outcome. Movie works perfectly fine on windows.
