I love the experience of Emby theater. Also if it can be sideloaded would that mean I would get my video backdrops back?

No I was referring to the theme videos if they would work on fire cube with a sideloaded emby theater. I'm thinking its not possible. I love Emby theater for Xbox. FrostByte 5392 Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Ahh, but isn't that what the "Enable theme videos" option does at the bottom of my pic? Maybe not. Pretty much the app looks exactly like the one on the Xbox. I would just give it a whirl and see as I only use theme music. 1

I think as of now it will play them on top of the UI, which is obviously not good. However, compared to the dedicated Android TV app, this can be supported much more easily, so I'll put it on the to do list. Thanks.

It would be great to be able to have the theater experience available on the fire cube for those that choose to sideload it. Plus video backdrops would be very pleasing. I would love to open the same or similar emby theater that I see on my Xbox on my fire cube in another room even if I have to sideload it and get video backdrops.
