Emby worked fine up until 2 weeks ago

I'm using someone else's server and I have a 4k firestick. Up until about 2 weeks ago it ran smoothly. I also had plex from the same providers but once i started having this buffering non stop issue they had me try emby. Well I started using emby and after a day or 2 of seamlessly no issues i started getting buffering problems or freezing issues. Then came the volley errors and errors saying xant con ect to the network.  I'm not tech savvy at all so i have no clue what to do and after 2hrs of them trying to help me we couldnt still find the problem. All they said was maybe you need a new stuck. My stuck is about 2 yrs old at most and I can play iptv or IMDb streaming or other amazon streaming type free stuff no problems. Anyone can help me figure this out I would forever grateful.  Remember I'm not tech savvy at all
