Emby and Kodi together on a shield?

So just having a thought... Ordered a Shield tv pro and wonder if I can setup Emby as the server and Kodi with emby next gen as the UI on the one box? Currently I run Emby on a Synology box and Kodi on a PC. Wonder if I'll get better happiness if they co-exist on a box with more umph than the Synology?

excellent! thanks @Luke. I'll have to sort out the migration from the synology box, but I think that's a "simple" backup/restore I should be able to sort out. 

Follow-up question, Will the Emby server on the shield be content when the synology (where all the library data is stored obviously) goes off-line nightly. I assume I'll have to make sure scheduled tasks aren't happening at that time, but otherwise will it just wait till the AM when the synology wakes up?

If you set a specific time for the tasks, then yes, it's your responsibility to make sure the machine is awake. That is why the default schedules are interval based and not time based.
