setup.exe will not start to install.

I can not get the setup to install on windows xp at all. file size is 418kb, when double click i get massage, .exe is not a valid Win32 applaction.
 is there a trouble with the download or my end.

I don't believe windows XP is supported, pretty sure I remember reading windows 7 is minimum requirement
