playing over server question

Hi im looking at setting up a laptop that connects to my main pc that has the server running over wifi. The question Im asking is will this use internet data when using the web interface to watch movies and use the live tv function or not because I have them on the same network and im using unc paths

I wouldn't have thought so. I am running the same setup and have no issues with internet usage. As long as your laptop is connected to the server via it's local IP address 192.168.x.x etc
