Luke 42079 Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 @gswim please attach the emby server log from when you tried to save: Thanks.
gswim 2 Posted October 12, 2021 Author Posted October 12, 2021 I hope this is the right log you need embyserver.txt

gswim 2 Posted October 12, 2021 Author Posted October 12, 2021 I also got a 404 error when I tried in the browser. It works on other IPTV players and has been working on Emby for 6 months. I have not changed my EMBY settings
gswim 2 Posted October 12, 2021 Author Posted October 12, 2021 last time this happened you said it contained a redirect and you did something to fix it. Maybe the case again ? seems strange that it only stopped working after i got a message about an update and I needed to restart the server "The response from your xml provider contains a redirect, and we're currently not following the redirect."
Luke 42079 Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 I don't think that's the issue here. If you're positive the url is valid, then they might be blocking based on any number of factors such as user agent or the referrer http header, so you can try changing those up a bit to make Emby appear like something else.
gswim 2 Posted October 12, 2021 Author Posted October 12, 2021 I am positive as I’m watching it on Tivimate right now. Changing agent or header That beyond my capabilities
gswim 2 Posted October 12, 2021 Author Posted October 12, 2021 I do notice that when I put my URL information into the browser, it changes from what I enter, then gives me the 404
gswim 2 Posted October 14, 2021 Author Posted October 14, 2021 My provider switched to Xstreams which of course does not work with Emby. I asked them what my URL would now be and they gave be the below information,. The EPG put into the browser gives me the correct return, the Playlist gives me a 404 error. When I put the playlist into Emby it gives me an Error. I assume because it's a XYZ not a .COM etc... any advice on how to overcome this ?
ebr 16184 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 Hi. You will have to convert it to an m3u or use a different source. We have no plans to supports XS.
gswim 2 Posted October 14, 2021 Author Posted October 14, 2021 Is the playlist listed here not a M3U ? Remote Playlist – http://ourlivetv.xyz:826/get.php?username=xxxx&password=yyyy&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

Remote Playlist – http://ourlivetv.xyz:826/get.php?username=xxxx&password=yyyy&type=m3u_plus&output=ts I don't know since I cannot see it but that url itself is not an M3U so, if what it points to is, you'd need to download that and put that in the tuner setup.
Luke 42079 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 Does that url output something that looks similar to the examples here? http://xmtvplayer.com/build-m3u-file
gswim 2 Posted October 14, 2021 Author Posted October 14, 2021 No it give me an 404 error, The EPG works gives me a bunch of channels. I give up
Luke 42079 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 Right you'll need to get your m3u url working first obviously.
gswim 2 Posted October 14, 2021 Author Posted October 14, 2021 It just confuses me even more. My provider game me a url and said use my user name and password the url is ourlivetv.xyz:826 that however takes me to https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate.html somehow when I put it into Tivimate it seems to work. I was just trying to set it up in Emby for a convivence when I'm on travel

Often times it can. Your provider should allow you to change your password so you can change it after I take a look for you.
gswim 2 Posted October 15, 2021 Author Posted October 15, 2021 This issue can be closed. A big thank you to Carlo for his time, effort and dedication to helping me get this resolved. Is there a place where I can make a donation to the EMBY Effort ? I looked real quick in the site support.

Carlo 4561 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 As I think I already mentioned to you, no donations needed as we help you, because we want to. gswim already has Emby Premiere in order to run Live TV so he likely doesn't need other subscriptions or purchases. Instead, tell your friends about Emby and show them how cool it is.
