EliteGroup 8 Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 (edited) Hey Guys, I have a Mixed-Content Library "Documentation" I change all my genre metadata to "Natur", "Physics", .... Now i have many "empty" genre folders in my library. Normally they disappear under movies / series? But not under Mixed-Content... Example, they are all empty, but they don't remove I think its a Bug, but how to remove manually? there is a setting file? I have so many empty folders Emby v4.6.4.0 Linux - Docker Edited October 11, 2021 by EliteGroup

Luke 42086 Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Hi, you probably have episodes with those genres assigned. I would check the metadata editor.

I would check the metadata editor. that's sad... i have so many episodes i can't edit them manually I tried this: GenreCleaner PlugIn does not work with mixed content series! NFO on new episodes I create an NFO file for new episodes with the content: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?> <episodedetails> <lockedfields>Genres</lockedfields> </episodedetails> After scanning, the genre is closed, but the genre metadata from the internet is still saved! Example: Locked but genres are loading ? (Only by first scanning for a new episode) It only works if you edit the NFO of created episodes and then scan the library. I would have to write a script for that. really crap. if only genres for the main folder are displayed, why are the genres for episodes included in the visibility ??? no understanding Edited December 22, 2021 by EliteGroup
