Hi,
Is it possible to 'delete the entire history' of the user's account, without the need to mark each video as already played?
Thank you right now.

Sound like you want this,  multi-select on one or all libraries and select Unplayed.

Or if you have Premiere you would make a new user and use the Server Configuration Backup plugin (making a backup) and restore that new users userdata to the user you want to clear userdata on.

Or are you asking to just clear the Continue watching items?  If so then you have to multi-select each item.

I'm not sure what's being asked.  If the op post it mentions marking all the videos as played.

Are you simply trying to remove items from continue watching?

Looks like it was about "Is it possible to 'delete the entire history' of the user's account" and not about the Title "Continue Watching".

Carlos, I was able to find the way to specifically target each user to disable recording their watch list (like watched, favour,resume,...), let me know if that help you , I`ll share with you.

Hi,
Sorry, I think I failed to follow this topic and thanks for the responses.
What I want is to delete all items from "Keep Watching" only from one user (Myself, ADM), that is, I want my Continue Watching not to have any item, which is empty.
Also, I would like to mark all movies in a library as Unwatched, but I only see the Mark as Watched option. Maybe some CSS code is hiding the context menu item?
Thanks

While logged in as that user, use the menu on each item to "Remove from Continue Watching".

First mark them watched and then the option will change to mark unwatched.

Ah, I thought it would be possible to remove them all with a single click. Thank you for that.

It doesn't work for me, I've tried it before. I redid it now, marking the library as Played Already and in fact marked all as Played. When going back in the same action, the context menu item has not changed and remains as Mark as played. I can't revert.

Have you tried force-refreshing the page?

Posted

Yes.
1. Forced the page to reflect
and
2. I closed and reopened Emby
and
3. I cleared the browsing data
and
4. I cleared the cloudflare cache
The context menu is not changed.
I've also confirmed that there isn't any CSS code that might prevent the context menu from displaying the items.

That must mean that something under that folder/library is still marked unwatched.  Can you find it visually?

Posted

Yes, I have 591 cult movies and only 1 was littered. I've made it unassisted and nothing's changed. I forced the reflesh, cleaned the navigation and nothing changed.
The item in the context menu does not change.

Something may be going wrong with the marking of that item.  Can you temporarily remove it from the library?

Posted

Yes.
I removed the movie folder from the library.
I ran a new crawl at the library.
I checked that the film was removed from the library.
I did the forced reflesh.
I cleaned up the navigation data.
The context menu item has not changed.
I can't revert to Mark as unassisted.

Okay, yep, I can reproduce.  At a library level, that option appears to always be "Mark Played" - even when everything within it its already marked as played.

@Luke

I seem to recall that came up on some thread very recently. Multi-select that library - even if it's a single one, multi-select bar three dot menu will list Mark Unplayed.

Edit: Read whole topic, see H2P already gave the solution, unclear why OP still can't make those items Unplayed and constantly returns to library context menu.

Edit2: As a sidenote, @ebr, and not to hijack this topic but it is semi-related: same can be observed in AndroidTV app within any Collection. Selecting Played makes all items played, however it remains on Played, you cannot make all items Unplayed, it is always same popup: "You will make all items played... Are you sure..." Selecting it again does not make items within Collection Unplayed.

I looked at the recent posts of H2P and did not find. I appreciate if anyone finds the link so I can solve the problem.

Thank you from now on.

I believe I found a workaround.

Thank you all for your help.
