melsom88 1 Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 (edited) Emby's library scan seem to crash when scanning files with charset errors in the filename. Please take a look at this log. Hopefully Emby can skip these files and continue scanning. The mentioned file in the log was renamed and it works as intended. 2021-10-09 12:38:20.447 Info App: All entry points have started 2021-10-09 12:38:20.527 Error LibraryMonitor: Error in Directory watcher for: /datastore/movie *** Error Report *** Version: 4.6.4.0 Command line: /opt/emby-server/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /var/lib/emby -ffdetect /opt/emby-server/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /opt/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 -updatepackage emby-server-deb_{version}_amd64.deb Operating system: Linux version 5.4.0-84-generic (buildd@lgw01-amd64-050) (gcc version 9.3.0 (Ubuntu 9.3.0-17ubuntu1~20.04)) #94-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 26 20:27:37 UTC 2021 Framework: .NET Core 3.1.13 OS/Process: x64/x64 Runtime: opt/emby-server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 32 Data path: /var/lib/emby Application path: /opt/emby-server/system System.IO.FileNotFoundException: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file '/datastore/movie/Alien (1992)'.
