cryhavoc 4 Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 I discovered refresh metadata of the first show of a season promptly populates the folder for the entire season when trying to save metadata to local folders. strange. it seems to me the option to refresh metadata for a show/file would be specific to that file. not complaining; I ended up doing this for many tvshows because most of the tvshows did not populate the folders when refreshing from a higher level. for example, all creatures great and small (70s), did not populate seasons 2 and 3, and most tv shows had nothing in their folders, when trying from the top folder and then with each tv show. I waited a day and there was no progress, yet with this manual method it was near instantaneous for each season based on one file. I am not sending logs or bothering with supporting my position. take it or leave it; note for the devs. metadata is a nightmare with this server, but I consider emby a step up from plex, mostly. yet, I am not encouraged my password saved by google did not work with this account today, i.e., google does not get my get my other passwords wrong--just emby. ta ta...

Hi, where did you do this exactly? You may have done it at the season level.

Hi, what do you mean did not populate? Refreshing metadata from higher levels works just fine, however there is currently no way to monitor it's progress, so you just have to be patient or it may cause you to think that it's not working.
