Guest worthington_j Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 I'm currently running Emby 4.6.4.0 but looking back this has been an issue for a while. I always run my TV Shows through MediaCompanion and have it create the .nfo file and Emby imports based upon the .nfo information. Emby used to import the data so that it showed both episode numbers and both titles. You can see this in the old preview attachment. The episode was sorted correctly in the season. With newer imports I'm missing most of the .nfo information, the episode may display under specials, and it's listed out of order. You can see this in attachment labeled new preview.
Guest worthington_j Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 I just found this thread: I'm seeing the same issue but I'm using the .nfo for the import they are using TVDB or TheMovieDB.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Emby does not read multi-episode nfo files. Or at least the whole file. It currently requires <episodenumberend>.
Guest worthington_j Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 (edited) Is there a posability of making the multi-episode nfo files an enhancement? I'm curious how I got this to work in the past. Attached is a screenshot of what I see in Emby and a copy of the NFO for that file. Hell on Wheels S02E09E10.nfo Edited October 5, 2021 by worthington_j
Happy2Play 9785 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Per the other topic sure, but would assume there are other priorities. Here is a really old reply. But there are dozens of these topic
