I also have the impression that Emby starts the videos faster both locally and remotely. So for me, this is a successful upgrade from Windows 10 pro for workstation to Windows 11 pro for workstation. From purely a benchmark standpoint, it appears Windows 11 is a bit slower vs Windows 10, but that is around gaming. Would love to hear whether others agree that it's quicker to load or not! Overall have not noticed any performance differences, just a matter of relearning where options have moved to, context menu deficiencies, start menu. But in the end that has nothing to do with Emby. 1

(I didn't, but windows did ask me for MS account / edge update randomly) Now my Emby is fully broken, it either doesn't load the movie, stops after 1 minute or stops after a few minutes. I'm running emby as a service. After logging into that machine, it works a bit better, but still really bad. It seems the last win11 update broke something on Emby as a service Strange thing is, I don't see any windows 11 updates in my update history. However, today after Emby broke, I looked at that pc and it came up with the screen to ask me to make a MS account, and set Edge settings to optimized. I refused both. Then, Emby staid broken.
