roaku 842 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 I'm not too worried about recovering my playlists, but I am curious to understand what happened... Recently, I moved my movie files from '/Movie Name (YYYY)/Movie Name (YYYY).ext' to '/m/Movie Name (YYYY)/Movie Name (YYYY).ext'. Everything seemed to go fine, but I noticed yesterday that the movies that were moved have disappeared from any playlists they were in. The movie entries are missing from the playlist xml too. Is there something I could have done like copying the playlist xml and updating the paths to prevent this when moving the files?

Yes you could have. If you use the backup plugin, the playlists should still be in there for you to recover. 1
