On top of that, Emby is much better than its better-known competitor. But, because there is a but, the presentation (desk) on Nvidia Shield is not correct, the presentation is not neat, and it spoils the use of Emby. Because the software must also be beautiful. It is a media player, a visual application, so it must be beautiful to look at. On this point, Emby on Nvidia is far behind 1 - The display of thumbnails: Too much space between thumbnails. It looks ugly on a 65 "screen. It is necessary to reduce the horizontal space between the thumbnails, and to enlarge the thumbnails. The space must be occupied by the thumbnails, not by the void. Here is Emby's display, and below the competitor with the best-used space. 2 - Relevant information and unnecessary and ugly thumbnails On Nvidia Shield, I have not tested on other Android Tv boxes, Emby displays chapter thumbnails and trailer thumbnails. It's thumbnails are huge and are empty, it looks like ads for youtube and it's ugly. Whoever did that never looked at what it looked like on a Shield? Emby should look good on a big screen, but it's missed. I haven't found a lousier app to show here. All the competitors are better presented. Here the aesthetics are doubtful. I think Youtube says thank you everyday for the ad! So hide those awful thumbnails to keep the display looking good. What about the thumbnails of the chapters which are useless and which are so ugly, empty thumbnails, for what? This is what Emby displays on a 4K 65 "screen. It bothers me a lot. Hide it all. It takes ten minutes of use to see that the display is poorly done, please correct that. Because I hesitate to use Emby. I want a media player to watch nice movies, WITH a nice app. I have installed the Beta versions. I hope to receive a nice Beta next time. 3 - Why two buttons on TV series Why are there two buttons to play Tv series. I did not understand the interest. In itself it is not embarrassing, except that a simple and refined interface is more pleasant. Emby on Nvidia Shield is in my opinion the fastest media player. Make him the most beautiful.

It's a little surprising as a principle to always display two buttons which in some cases do the same thing. I hope that the other elements of my request will be given careful attention. It is much more important.

The chapter points are still functional even if you don't have images for them. You just click on one to start playing the item from that chapter.

Maybe a setting to hide that section for those who don't have the server creating images and don't want to see empty boxes either. 3

Or simply quicker FF/REW inside a video (felt asleep, movie ran it's course). However, for those with masochistic tendencies, sure, let them hide it. 1

That's a crappy solution. What happens if the BIF generator fails for some reason and no chapter images are displayed. We still want chapters, with or without images. @ebr ?!?!?!?!?! 1

In the latest beta release, chapters with no images are now hidden, which is a crazy decision. Others will be affected by this.

Someone fairly new comes in demanding changes without thinking how it affects others and thinks only about themselves so we jump because he mentions Plex. This is ridiculous.
