xrqp 11 Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 (edited) When a recording is in progress, say half way thru, and one wants to play it back, what should we expect in terms of capability -- compared to playing back a recording that has completed the recording? For me, sometimes it gives the choice to start from 1. the beginning, or 2. current live point. But sometimes it does not. For me, usually, if I start at the beginning, I can not do the skip forward 30 seconds like I do with completed recordings. Lots of playback lockups occur, most of the time, but not every time. Am I doing something wrong? Edit: sorry, I just now realized I am in Roku subforum. My system is HDHR antennal recording goes on my NAS that has Emby, and playback thru wired ethernet to Shield Pro Emby to TV. Edited October 4, 2021 by xrqp
ebr 16169 Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 Hi. If you don't do a lot of seeking or stop and need to resume, then it should generally work to play the in-progress recording from the beginning. Once you start trying to seek it gets very complicated and we have some improvements still here to accomplish. Thanks.
